FREE RIDE SECOND CHANCE DRAW RULES Prize: The winning player will be allowed to select a new vehicle(s) of their choice worth up to a $40,000 from a participating Idaho Automobile Dealership.  Vehicle sales tax, title, and documentation fee are also paid by the Idaho Lottery.  The maximum the lottery will pay for the prize along with all costs is $65,000.  This includes, but is not limited to, the cost of the vehicle(s) along with all taxes and fees.  Registration and license fees are the responsibility of the winner. QUALIFYING ENTRY: Two (2) non-winning Idaho Lottery Free Ride Scratch™ tickets. HOW TO ENTER: Enter the scratch ticket number, just above the barcode, located on the back of your two (2) non-winning scratch tickets via the Idaho Lottery website at www.idaholottery.com or through the Idaho Lottery tele-entry system at 208-334-4656.  ENTRY  DATE:     ALL non-winning entries may be entered between the official game start-up to the official end of game date.  Official end of game will be announced by the Lottery when either the game has sold out, claimed out or determined by the Lottery Executive Director. Rules: Only valid on-line (Internet) and telephone entries will be accepted. Mail in or walk in entries will NOT be accepted. The Idaho Lottery will not enter any information for any person. You may enter each non-winning Free Ride Scratch™ ticket number only once. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. It is the player’s responsibility to correctly input the scratch ticket numbers and current contact information Two (2) qualifying Idaho Lottery Free Ride Scratch™ tickets are considered one (1) entry. You must keep your entered tickets for presentation to Idaho Lottery Officials for winner/entry verification. Vehicles can only be purchased from an Idaho Lottery designated Idaho Automobile Dealership. Vehicles must be new (never previously titled). Registration and licensing fees are the responsibility of the winner. If the winner spends less than the $40,000, any remaining value is forfeited.  It will NOT be paid in cash or returned to the winner in any other manner. Any amount over the $40,000 a winner may spend on the purchase is the sole responsibility of the winner. The Idaho Lottery will pay state and federal income tax withholding on the prize amount but only commensurate with the winner the amount the player actually spends on the vehicle(s) up to the capped $40,000. The person who submits the entry is the person who must claim the prize. The winner’s name will be posted on the Lottery’s website by 3:00 PM of the announcement date. The Idaho Lottery will contact the winner by phone and/or e-mail. The winner must contact the Idaho Lottery within 96 hours of the notification. Players are responsible to ensure their VIP and contact information is current. Posting or announcement of the winner drawn does not confirm winning status until the winner and winning entries have been verified by Idaho Lottery officials. An alternate winner will be chosen and contacted in the event of the following: 1)   the winner cannot be notified due to incorrect or lack of contact information 2)   the winner has not contacted the Idaho Lottery within the required time 3)   the winner cannot accept or participate in the promotion 4)   the winner cannot present the winning entry for verification 5)   the winner cannot provide required identification 6)   entry was not legally purchased You must be 18 years of age to buy, sell, or redeem Idaho Lottery tickets in Idaho.  No one under 18 can participate in any Idaho Lottery promotion, giveaway or game. Important winner details: The winner will have 96 hours, after notification and posting on the website, to contact the Idaho Lottery Security Division. Every effort will be made to contact the winner by phone and e-mail information that was provided by entrant. Winner’s names will be published on the Idaho Lottery website no later than 3:00 PM MTon the announcement date. In the event a named winner does not step forward to claim their prize within the required time, the named winner will forfeit their claim to the position and an alternate will be chosen and contacted.   The alternate will then have 96 hours to contact the lottery. After verification of the winner and ticket, the following procedures will be followed: The check for the vehicle(s) will be delivered/mailed to the selected dealer. The winner will receive an official lottery certificate that provides proof you are a winner along with a list of all participating dealers. The winner will take the certificate to the participating dealer as proof of winning status. After dealer and vehicle is selected, the dealer shall fax the form that was provided to them to the lottery. The lottery will verify all information again the begin processing the payment. The check for the vehicle(s), and all other approved included items, will be issued to the winner but will be delivered/mailed to the selected dealer. The dealer and the winner will work out the transfer of funds after the check is delivered. To claim your prize in person at the Idaho Lottery office in Boise (1199 Shoreline Lane Boise, Idaho: Contact the Idaho Lottery Security Division immediately at 208-334-2277. Sign and complete the information on the back of the selected, non-winning Free Ride Scratch™ tickets. The winner must present the selected ticket to Idaho Lottery Officials to process their claim. Possession of the non-winning ticket is the only method the Idaho Lottery has to verify your claim. Claims must be made in person at the Idaho Lottery Offices in Boise. You must complete and sign a claim form and a claim form addendum. You can get these forms off of the Idaho Lottery website. (www.idaholottery.com) When you visit the Idaho Lottery Offices in Boise, you will need the selected Idaho Lottery non-winning Free Ride scratch tickets, the claim form, claim form addendum and photo identification to claim your prize. To claim your prize by fax: Contact the Idaho Lottery Security Division immediately at 208-334-2277. Sign and complete the information on the back of the selected, Idaho Lottery non-winning Free Ride Scratch™ tickets. Make a copy of the back of the selected tickets. You must also complete and sign a claim form and a claim form addendum. You can get these forms from the Idaho Lottery website. (www.idaholottery.com) Make a copy of your photo identification.
