HOW TO PLAY POWERBALL

1. Get a Idaho Powerball play slip at any Idaho Lottery retail location.

2. Decide how many games you want to play. Each game costs $1.

3. For each game, pick five numbers out of 55 in the white "Pick 5 " box. Next, pick your one Powerball number out of 42 in the "RED POWERBALL BOX" just below. Place a heavy vertical mark through the numbers.

4. If you want the computer to randomly select your numbers ask the clerk for a "Quick Pick", or mark the "Quick Pick" box on the play slip.

5.
If you make a mistake, mark the VOID box for that game.

6. Before submitting your play slip make sure the numbers and the payment option you have chosen are the ones you want. Powerball tickets cannot be canceled after they are processed. Responsibility for the numbers selected rests with you, not the retailer.

7.
If you want to play the same numbers for up to 10 consecutive drawings, mark the appropriate number of drawings in the Multi- Draw section.

8. If you want to play "PowerPlay," mark the appropriate box indicated on the play slip. "PowerPlay" is a way to multiply your prize by 2, 3 4, or even 5 for an extra $1 per play. During the drawing a single number will be selected from a pool of 16 numbers. The 16 numbers are: 4 twos, 4 threes, 4 fours, and 4 fives. All prizes of $200,000 or less are multiplied by the number selected for all players that played "PowerPlay."

9. Payment: You have 30 days after you claim the jackpot to determine if you want cash or the annuity option. If you choose the annuity option you will receive your prize over 29 years (30 payments).
