HOW TO GET A LICENSE

STEPS TO GETTING A CHARITABLE GAMING LICENSE
Follow the steps below to receive a Charitable Gaming License. Alicense will not be issued unless all forms have been received, verified and approved. To see if your organization qualifies to hold a Bingo/Raffle, please Click here for frequently asked questions and answers.

STEP 1: Fully complete Application for Bingo/Raffle (2 pages)
STEP 2: Provide a copy of IRS determination letter OR Secretary of State Certification of Non-Profit status. You will need to show that your organization is a charitable or non-profit organization. (Note: if you are re-newing your license, you do not need to show proof again.)
STEP 3: Complete the Charity and/or Non-Profit to Receive Funds form. We need to know where the money raised will be going. For example, if the money raised will be staying within your organization then put your organization name and address.
STEP 4: Completed Idaho State Police Background Check Form for each required person. See Criminal Background Information Sheet on who needs to fill out a form. A criminal background for a Charitable Gaming license must be completed every year upon renewal.
STEP 5: Send a check for the amount of the license fee payable to the Idaho Lottery. The required license fee is listed on the Application for Bingo/Raffle. Please note, if this is a first-time application the license fee is $100.
