KJ’s in Malad to Host Customer Service Appreciation Day with Idaho Lottery

BOISE, Idaho – KJ’s Super Store in Malad, the Idaho Lottery’s largest individual retail location, is hosting a festive, customer appreciation day on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Mountain Time. The Idaho Lottery’s legendary Wooh Crew will be on the hand for the barbeque festivities between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm and will qualify contestants for a frozen t-shirt contest where the winner will receive $25 in Scratch tickets. The runner-up will receive a free Scratch ticket.

Participants who visit the store during the promotion and purchase a $5 Idaho Cash ticket will receive a free $2 Mega Millions ticket. The Idaho Lottery will also hand out free Lottery t-shirts to the first 100 customers who spend at least $20 on Lottery products.

All Lottery purchases over $20 will be given an entry to win a Lottery / KJs prize package valued at $100.

The Wooh Crew will showcase the newest icon from the Idaho Lottery, a ginormous, oversized BALL promoting the Idaho Lottery’s most popular game, Powerball. KJs will also offer $0.49 fountain drinks during the day.

“Year in and year out, Geoff and Gregg Green at KJs in Malad have worked collaboratively with us to support our good causes, Idaho’s public schools,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “Through their success, we’ve been able to realize great improvements to schools in Oneida County and across Idaho. Thank you to the Greens, to KJs, and all their players.”

Since inception of the Idaho Lottery in 1989, proceeds from Lottery sales at KJs in Malad have contributed $778,514 to benefit public schools in Oneida County. School improvements in recent years have included roof repairs and upgrades to plumbing, electrical, and the heating and cooling systems.
