Sparks Fly as Lottery Player Scores $15,000 at 15th Anniversary Celebration!! 

Boise – July 4th was a blast – not just because of the fireworks. The Idaho Lottery generated quite a flash with its 15th Anniversary Celebration, where Idaho Lottery players walked off the stage with great prizes and more than $20,000 in cash. Lottery player Anna Pearl Rowell was the big winner of the night, garnering the grand prize of $15,000.

Ten contestants took the stage for the game show. Though Rowell won the top prize, everyone participating walked away with major prizes, including Michael Stella who won $3,000 and Sherrie Flowers who won $1,500. Members of the audience also got in on the show to win big. 

The contestants were selected in second-chance drawings after entering non-winning 150 Grand scratch tickets. There are two more anniversary celebrations: August 28 at the North Idaho Fair; and September 11 at the Eastern Idaho Fair. It’s not too late to enter non-winning tickets to be a contestant in the show in Eastern Idaho! 

The Celebration Game Show was a dynamic lead-in to the July 4th Hawks fireworks that the Lottery co-sponsored. The Lottery took over the Western Idaho Fairgrounds 6 p.m. and offered free music by Marcus Eaton and the Lobby and comedy by funny man Pat Mac.
