Happy Anniversary! Caldwell Woman Scores $150,000 on Scratch Ticket! 

(Boise, ID) Alberta Barbosa may not speak English, but she understands the language of loot – meaning that she had no trouble interpreting the symbols and numbers the Idaho Lottery uses on scratch tickets. If not, Alberta may not have known right away that she just won $150,000 on the Lottery’s 15th Anniversary scratch ticket 150 Grand. 

Alberta regularly plays 150 Grand, but today she played and won one of the top prizes of $150,000. One more top prize remains in that game to be won. 

Alberta came to the Lottery office to claim her prize. She was still in shock and her nephews explained that the prize comes at a good time right before the holidays, and with the prize money Alberta and her husband will buy a pair of new trucks and put money toward buying a house.  

Alberta bought the winning ticket at Azteca Market in Caldwell.
