The Price is Right for $70,000 Winning Lottery Ticket!

(Boise, ID) – Phil and Sheila Fergus own a farm in a small and rural part of eastern Idaho and sometimes pass the time playing Idaho Lottery games. Phil likes the higher priced games like $7 Price is Right, which happened to yield him the top prize of $70,000.  

The couple has never before won a big prize, but two days before Phil bought the winning ticket, he told Sheila that he knew he was going to get a big winner. Sheila didn’t doubt her husband, and sure enough he brought home the winner for her to check. 

“We were so excited,” Sheila said. “We did the Seventy Thousand Dollar Dance.” Phil reenacted the dance in the Lottery office as proof.  

The Ferguses have six kids, and with the money they plan to take the family to Disney World.  

The winning ticket was bought at The Mart in Pocatello.
