$200,000 Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Jerome

 

Boise – One lucky Magic Valley resident is about to have a much happier Holiday this year - $200,000 happier.

 

A winning Powerball ticket that matched all five numbers, but not the Powerball, was sold at the Ridley´s Food & Drug located in downtown Jerome at 148 W. Main Street. The winning numbers were 7, 34, 35, 36, 38, the Powerball was 14 and the PowerPlay multiplier was 4.

 

“We’ve seen this before where someone is holding a winning ticket but does not realize they are the winner because they didn’t match the Powerball number,” explained Lottery spokesman David Workman. “In this case, we are looking for a winner who matched every number but the Powerball. Everyone should always check their tickets for winners.”

 

The winner has 180 days to claim their $200,000 prize at Lottery Headquarters in Boise.

 

There was no jackpot winner for last night’s $20 million draw. In addition to the $200,000 winner from Jerome, there were an additional 6,796 Powerball winning tickets in Idaho for last night’s draw. The Idaho Lottery encourages every player to carefully check their tickets for other non-jackpot prizes ranging from $3 to $400.
