Lisa Thomas of Kuna is Lottery’s Ultimate Fan Pass Winner

 

Boise – One Boise State Bronco fan turned out to be a lucky winner.  Lisa Thomas of Kuna was the winner of the Idaho Lottery’s BoiseState Bronco Ultimate Fan Pass promotion.

 

Thomas has until 1 PM tomorrow, Tuesday, August 28, 2007 to claim her prize from the Lottery. If she does not claim her prize, an alternate will be chosen and contacted.  Attempts by the Lottery to contact Thomas so far today have unsuccessful.

 

As the Ultimate Fan Pass winner, Thomas will receive sideline season passes for two to every Bronco home game, plus airfare, accommodations, and game tickets to see the Broncos play their three biggest road games of the year.  Thomas and a guest will watch Boise State take on Washington in Seattle, Fresno State in Bulldog Stadium, and spend Thanksgiving in Honolulu watching BSU take on WAC rival Hawaii.

 

“The Idaho Lottery was pleased to work cooperatively on this promotion with Boise State Bronco Athletics and Global Travel,” state Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “The Ultimate Fan Pass contest was the most successful promotion in the history of the Lottery.”

 

Thomas was one 4,800 entrants for the contest that ran from July 30 through August 26, 2007.  Lottery players who purchased a $20 PowerPlay ticket, a $10 Powerball ticket with the PowerPlay option – a $20 purchase, received a voucher to enter on-line for their chance to win.

 

Jim Stroud of Boise won second place in the Ultimate Fan Pass contest. He won four season tickets to see the Broncos. 

 

“By golly!” exclaimed Stroud when he was told of the good news.

 

For all the Boise State Bronco fans who did not win, they are not out of luck. The Idaho Lottery will be offering a new promotion beginning this Thursday, “A Second Chance at Paradise”, where another lucky Bronco fan will have a chance to win a trip to see the Broncos play Hawaii over Thanksgiving at the end of the Season. To win, players will need to purchase a $5 Wild Card ticket from any Jacksons store in the state of Idaho. They will receive a voucher to enter on-line. Winners will be announced during the Boise State – Idaho game on November 17.
