IDAHO LUCKY AGAIN – WILD CARD JACKPOT WON IN PAYETTE!

 

Boise – For the second time in three months, Idaho has hit the Wild Card Jackpot.  Last night, one ticket sold in Payette matched all five numbers and the Wild Card.  The jackpot amount is worth $110,000.

 

The winning numbers from last night’s Wild Card draw were 5, 12, 19, 26, 27 and the Jack of Spades.

 

“Idaho continues to be a lucky state for our lottery players,” stated Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “We’ve now won two of the last three jackpots on Wild Card.”

 

Last summer, Ken Covert from Pocatello won $2.78 million, the largest jackpot in the history of the Wild Card game.  After the historic win in June, one ticket worth $552,000 was won in North Dakota two weeks ago before last night’s winning ticket hit this jackpot.

 

At present, the Idaho Lottery is running their Second Chance to Paradise Wild Card promotion with Boise State football. Any one who purchases a $5 Wild Card ticket from any Jacksons receives an entry for a chance at game tickets to Boise State football and a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to Hawai’i over Thanksgiving to watch the Broncos play the Warriors in a classic WAC showdown.

 

Wild Card 2 is a lotto-style game played only in Idaho, Montana, North and South Dakota.  Players select five numbers from 1 to 31 and one of 16 face cards from a standard deck of cards. Players also have the option of selecting a quick pick. Jackpots begin at $100,000 and continue to climb until the jackpot is won.  To win the jackpot, players must match all five numbers and the wild card.
