Looking for two $200,000 Idaho Powerball winners!

Idaho Lottery Looking for Pair of Powerball Winners

Continuing a streak that has lasted for five months, the Lottery has confirmed that two lucky Powerball tickets from last night’s $89 million drawing are worth $200,000 each. The two tickets matched all five numbers but not the Powerball. The winning numbers for last night’s draw were 03, 04, 08, 20, 49 and the Powerball number was 18.

“Too often people think they do not have a winning ticket if they did not match the Powerball number itself,” stated Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “We are encouraging everyone who had a Powerball ticket for last night’s draw to check their tickets carefully. These tickets did not match the Powerball number, but did match every other number making them $200,000 winners.”

Last night’s two winning tickets make the eighth and ninth $200,000 or higher winning Powerball tickets in Idaho since October 2007. The Lottery had two $200,000 winners in October, two more in November, a $600,000 winner from Rathdrum in December, two $200,000 winners from Malad City in January and now these two in February.

The Lottery is currently working to verify the location of where both winning tickets from last night were sold. Any one holding one of the winning tickets will have to wait until Tuesday to claim their winnings. Lottery Offices are closed in honor of the President’s Day Holiday. Additional information related to the location of where the two winning tickets were sold will also be made available on Tuesday.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night’s draw is an estimated $100 million.
