Every day before work, Scott Daniel and his co-worker make a stop at the Sage Travel Plaza in Caldwell to get a soda and play a few lottery tickets. As a regular, the store knows them well.
One Tuesday morning in late October, Scott decided that since he had not been winning lately playing Scratch tickets that he would try InstaPlay. It was just that small change in routine that landed Scott the top prize of $30,000 on the InstaPlay game, Blackjack.
“I got the ticket, looked it over, and turned to my co-worker and said I think I won $30,000,” Scott described on winning. “Total disbelief.”
Believe it, Scott. He claimed his prize in Boise at the Lottery offices a few hours later. He plans to use his winnings to pay bills.
InstaPlay games and played like Scratch games but are printed from the Lottery terminals. There are two types of InstaPlay games, those with pre-determined jackpots and those with rolling jackpots.
