Two $250,000 Mega Millions Winners in Idaho from Historic Draw

BOISE, Idaho ÔÇô Two winning tickets from last night┬┤s historic Mega Millions draw matched all five of the first numbers, but not the Mega Ball, and are worth $250,000 each. The Idaho Lottery has confirmed one ticket was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Canyon County and the second was sold in Oneida County along the Idaho-Utah border. The winning numbers were 2, 4, 23, 38, 46 and the Mega Ball was 23.

ÔÇï"The real winners from last night┬┤s draw are our beneficiaries, Idaho public schools and the permanent building fund. Thank you to everyone who participated in this historic event," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "We are encouraging everyone who played Mega Millions for last night's draw to check their tickets carefully for winners. We often see players think they did not win because they did not match the Mega Ball. In this case, last night┬┤s big winners in Idaho matched all five of the first numbers and have tickets worth $250,000 each."

"In addition to the two $250,000 winners, there were over 75,300 winning tickets from last night's Mega Millions draw that won another $323,000 in Idaho," added Anderson.ÔÇï

Last night┬┤s two quarter-of-a-million dollar winners brings Idaho┬┤s total to four $250,000 winners in the past four draws. The first two, also unclaimed, were sold in Adams and Power counties.ÔÇï

ÔÇïAll winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.

ÔÇïThe Idaho Lottery is also reminding players to sign the back of all their tickets prior to presenting them for payment.
