Wish Comes True as Woman Wins $70,000 on The Big Spin

BOISE, Idaho – Sandra Garcia spends her days helping others, working as an Idaho Health & Welfare caseworker in Payette. This afternoon, Sandra got a helping hand when she participated in the Idaho Lottery’s Scratch Game, The Big Spin during a LIVE, public event at Boise Towne Square where she had a chance to win up to $125,000.

As she told her story, back in August, Garcia made a trip to Boise Towne Square for some back-to-school shopping with her nephew. During that visit, she showed him the Lottery’s Big Spin wheel and told him she really hoped someday she’d get to spin it and be a big winner.

“I wished for it and here I am!” exclaimed Garcia before she made her Big Spin. “This is really exciting!”

Before a crowd of about 50 friends, family, and onlookers at Boise Towne Square, Garcia made her wish come true as she spun the Big Spin wheel and won $70,000.

Garcia said she plans to save her winnings. She purchased her winning ticket from the Jacksons Extra Mile in Parma.

This was the third top prize-winning ticket from the third edition of the popular game, The Big Spin. Since debuting in the summer of 2022, 15 players have won the chance to participate in The Big Spin event. There are three top prize tickets remaining in this edition, each with the opportunity to visit Boise Towne Square and spin the big wheel for a chance to win up to $125,000.
