BOISEAN WINS WILD CARD JACKPOT!
BOISE – The Idaho Lottery and schools are once again paired up – this time it is different though. Boise high school teacher Edmund Thomas won the Wild Card jackpot estimated at $530,000 on Wednesday, November 3.
Wild Card is a multi-state game and another winning ticket for this drawing was purchased in South Dakota, so Thomas split the prize and received $264,838. The winning numbers were 9, 17, 23, 24, and 29, and the Wild Card was the Ace of Clubs.
Thomas bought the winning ticket at a Jacksons Store in Boise. Thomas often plays the Lottery and once before won big on a scratch ticket, but this was his first jackpot winner.
The next Wild Card drawing is Saturday November 6, 2006.
Idaho, Montana and South Dakota sell the WILD CARD game. Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:59 p.m. MST. With WILD CARD you get 2 plays for $1. For each play you just pick five numbers between 1 and 31 and one of 16 different WILD CARDS.
