When a lucky player at Friendly Fred’s in Nampa won $24,000 playing Cashword Times 10, she brought Peggy, the store’s owner, into the office with her to claim the prize. Peggy drove because the winner’s car was having problems and couldn’t make the drive to Boise. 

So what’s the lucky winner going to do with the prize money? Buy a new car, of course. 

Peggy will receive the retailer bonus of $2,400 for selling the winning ticket. What is she going to do with her money? “I’m going to share it equally with all the workers,” she said. There are six employees at Friendly Fred’s.
