BOISE — A lucky Genessee man won $100,000 playing the Idaho Powerball from the Saturday, November 11th drawing. The gentleman, who chooses to remain anonymous, bought the ticket from Judy Thompson, who owns the Fairco Mini Mart in Moscow, Idaho.

Thompson, was very excited about her winner, however disappointed when the Genessee man decided not to share in the joy of winning $100,000.

Thompson, who traveled to Boise today with her son to attend the University of Idaho versus Boise State annual football game, stopped by the Idaho Lottery to share her joy. She said, “I feel like the luckiest retailer in the state right now, and I encourage anyone to stop by the store and try test my luck with this Saturday’s drawing.”

Powerball is the multi-state lotto game that offers players nine ways to win. Players select five numbers from 1 to 49 and a Powerball from 1 to 42. The jackpot is won by matching all five numbers plus the Powerball. Odds of winning a cash prize are 1 in 34.8. Jackpot odds are 1 in 80 million. Drawings are held on Wednesday and Saturday of each week.
