Idaho Lottery Announces Winning Ticket Numbers in Million Dollar Raffle

Boise – And the winning number in the Idaho Lottery $1,000,000 Raffle is:

002655

The Idaho Lottery announced the winning numbers during a ceremony held at US Bank in downtown Boise this morning. Idaho Lottery Director Jeff Anderson, who arrived in a stretch limousine under state security escort, made the announcement.

“The response to this raffle game has been over-whelming,” announced Anderson. “Our players and retailers asked for a large jackpot, Idaho-only game and today I am pleased to announce the winning numbers.”

In addition to the one-million dollar top prize, the Lottery also announced the four, $25,000 prize winning numbers.  They were:

132983

122619

092966

006658

The million dollar top prize, as well as the four $25,000 prizes must be claimed at Lottery Offices in Boise. Winners have 180 days to claim their winnings.

In addition to the top prizes, the Lottery also released the winning numbers for the three-hundred $500 prizes and the five-hundred $100 prizes.  Players interested in seeing those winning numbers can check their tickets at idahoraffle.com or at any Lottery retail location.

“We recommend all our winners sign their tickets immediately if they have not done so,” advised Anderson. “If you are holding one of the top five prizes, do not surrender your ticket to a retailer. Those winning tickets must be claimed at Lottery Offices.”

Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle sales began on November 11, 2007 and sold out on December 16, 2007 – just 36 days after it began. Advance retailer notice and player anticipation helped spur Raffle purchases from the onset of sales.  Fourteen percent of all tickets, nearly 36,000 were sold in the first 24 hours.  Forty percent of the tickets, over 100,000, were sold in the first seven days.  At the end, the last 10 percent of tickets sold in slightly over 48 hours.

“This game has been remarkable for the Lottery, for its retailers, for its players and for the schools and buildings of Idaho,” added Anderson.

In fact, more than six-hundred thousand dollars of revenue generated by the Raffle game alone will find its way to Idaho’s classrooms and buildings next summer as part of the annual dividend.

Players wishing to cash in their top prizes will not be able to do so on Tuesday. Lottery offices will be closed in celebration of New Year’s Day.  The Lottery’s Customer Service Department will resume standard operations on Wednesday, January 3, 2008 with hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mountain Time.
