Magic Valley Area Man Wins $100,000 on Lottery Scratch^TM Game

 

Boise – The Holiday Season got off to an early start for one lucky Magic Valley resident.  Art Draper of Paul won $100,000 on the Idaho Lottery Scratch^TM ticket 25 Days of Winning.

 

“I didn’t believe I had won when I scratched the ticket. And then I didn’t sleep much that night either,” said Draper, a long-time resident of the Burley area who bought his winning ticket at Stimpy’s Gas and Grub located at 498 W. 100 S. in Paul.

 

“Mr. Draper was very enthusiastic about his winning experience when he arrived at Lottery headquarters to claim his prize,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “Mr. Draper has requested privacy in this matter and as a responsible State agency, to the extent that we can, we are respecting his request.”

 

A new holiday themed game from the Idaho Lottery that features 25 seasonally themed snow globes decorated with gingerbread figures, candy canes, snowmen, and presents, 25 Days of Winning is the first greeting card style Scratch^TM game offered by the Idaho Lottery. Part of an entire suite of holiday-themed Scratch^TM games, 25 Days of Winning heads a list that includes Peppermint Twist Big Bingo (a scratch and sniff game with a burst of fresh peppermint), Santa’s List Cashword, Santa Games Doubler, and Freezing Your Bucks Off.

 

Draper plans to invest his winnings and eventually buy a house.  For their part in selling the winning ticket, Stimpy’s Gas and Grub received a bonus a $12,000 bonus from the Idaho Lottery.

 

This win is the largest for a Magic Valley area resident since Susie and Bernie Bradshaw from Kimberly won $200,000 on Powerball in December of 2006.
