TEN PLAYERS SPLIT $100,000 IDAHO POWERBALL PRIZE!

BOISE – Richard Nishizaki and two brothers waited one month for another brother to arrive back in town to share the news that the Nishizaki brothers, their mother and some friends had a $100,000 winning Powerball ticket to share. 

In all, ten people split the prize. What will the group to do celebrate the prize? “We’re going golfing today,” Richard said. 

The winning ticket was purchased at a Jacksons in Boise. 

Powerball is the multi-state lotto game that offers players nine ways to win. Players select five numbers from 1 to 53 and a Powerball from 1 to 42. The jackpot is won by matching 5 numbers plus the Powerball. Odds of winning a cash prize are 1 in 36. Jackpot odds are 1 in 120 million. Powerball is now played in 27 states and Washington, D.C. Drawings are held each week on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8:59pm MST.
