This wishlist will provide basic classroom supplies such as storage, floor cushion seating, a fun rug and books. Teacher Korin Miller says “I became a teacher for the first time this February, when I embarked upon an adventure with a room full of second graders in Pinehurst, Idaho. Pinehurst Elementary is a rural Title 1 school that is in a low socio-economic area; 50-60 percent of its 480 students qualifying for free or reduced lunches. The items I have asked for will create a classroom environment that welcomes students and demonstrates to them that reading and books are valued.

This wishlist will provide STEM and robotics supplies for a starting out club called the STEAM SQUAD . Teacher Kristin Greta says “ I live and teach in Star, Idaho. I teach 4th grade at Star Elementary School and I am asking YOU to invest in OUR students! After all, they are our future! These items will help not only my fourth-grade students but other students in our school as well!

This Wishlist will provide age leveled reading books for Carli Moffit’s classroom; She says, “ I need leveled books to teach reading with. I have some books, but they get too hard, too fast. I would like to purchase Rigby PM readers. These books help teach high frequency words and have several titles for each level. I'm looking to get 50 books with 6 copies of each book. I will have a variety of books to help my students learn to read. As of right now, I have a limited amount of books to use, and I need more books to teach sight words with.”

Teacher Jennifer Piippo says, "My goal is to ignite that flame of imagination and encourage our learners to explore the world around them. The pretend food and store will allow us to work on our writing, math, and social skills. We can also use it to discuss the four food groups and healthy eating choices. Learning is done best through real life experiences and the classroom store will provide a wealth of opportunities!"
