Teacher Rebecca Torrey says "The seats that came with my room are decades old. Most chairs are wobbly or cracked. This is my second year as the music and art teacher and I am also the FIRST art teacher at this school. I teach music the first half of the year and art the second half of the year. The chairs are more needed for art semester as we normally stand for music class. New seats would not only bring a brightness but a more comfortable option that does not wobble or pinch. I have unfortunately had a few kiddos get pinched with these older chairs."

Teacher Lisa Gorman-Jimenez says "We are a Title 1 school, and our older students could benefit from the purchase of warm coats and hoodies. Many students arrive at school without appropriate outerwear, especially older children who often fall through the cracks of donation drives focused on younger ages. With your support, we would purchase and distribute coats and hoodies directly through our counselor's office to ensure items reach the students who need them most. This assistance would help keep students warm, comfortable, and ready to learn throughout the colder months. We would also label these clothing items to help ensure they do not get lost as kids transition from different locations."

Teacher Careylyn Nez says "I am a resource teacher for 4th and 5th grade. I have 7 students who are extremely low readers; end of kinder to first grade level. We have tried the curriculum the district has offered. They have not made adequate growth. We found a curriculum that has been used in previous years, but they are not complete sets and not enough copies. This curriculum would make a huge difference in their lives because now they could read a book and understand what they are reading."
