FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2020

To our players:

Today Governor Brad Little declared a State of Emergency as the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact communities around the world. We want to reassure you we at the Idaho Lottery are working hard to prepare for COVID-19 and would like to share some information with you.

  • All Idaho Lottery winning tickets can be claimed via mail or held for 180 days after the official end of the game

If you are concerned about claiming your prizes at a retailer or the Idaho Lottery office, the option to mail tickets in to 1199 Shoreline Lane, Suite 100, Boise, ID 83702 is always available. Additionally, all Idaho Lottery winning tickets are valid for cashing up to 180 days after the official end of the game.

  • Take Necessary Hygiene Precautions After Visiting Idaho Lottery Retailers

We’re all in this together and confident our retailers are taking all the necessary steps to keep our communities safe. However, it is still up to all of us to do our part. Public health officials recommend frequent hand-washing and reducing physical contact if possible.

It is also important to remember to treat the employees of our retailers with respect at this time. There is a lot of fear and panic, and much of that fear and panic is being taken out on those in retail environments. We love our retailers and are grateful for what they’re doing during this time.

  • The Idaho Lottery Office Is Taking Steps To Protect Our Staff and Visitors

In our Boise office, we are making sure to keep our common areas and workspaces clean and sanitized and are ensuring our staff is following public health officials’ recommendations regarding hygiene and social distancing.

Our management team is staying on top of information coming from public health officials and the State of Idaho to update our plan of action as we know more.

Thank you so much for being a valued part of the Idaho Lottery family. The health and safety of our employees and players is our top priority, and we appreciate your continued support as this situation evolves.
